Due west from the beach caves, crossing a road bridge to get there.

This is the place mentioned by some people in Freeza and elsewhere and it's a
broken down tower building. You cannot take your tanks inside and have to
leave them outside and enter the compound on foot. As soon as you do so
there's an ominous rumbling sound as if the building is about to fall. It's
pretty dilapidated and the elevator on the ground floor isn't operational.
Climb the stairs to F2 where you'll meet a girl blocking a doorway. When you
attempt to talk to her she'll run off to the right. There are stairs leading
down to the other section of the ground floor but there's nothing to find, so
just climb up to the next floor.

On the third floor you'll find the girl again and once again, talk to her only
to see her disappear. Follow her down the room and out onto a broken balcony
where you'll spot her dashing off to the left. Take one step left and turn up
to go back inside the building and up some stairs. On this floor there are two
exits, one through the right wall and one near the stairs. They both lead to
an outer ledge where you can walk left to meet up with the girl again. This
time she asks a question. It doesn't matter what answer you give and she
disappears down a hole in the floor. Follow her.

Speak to Molina, Tumack's daughter and then, check the computer and select
"ON". This will make the lift work. Now go right and enter the lift. You are
on Floor 3 and there are 21 floors although the lift doesn't go to all of
them: just 1-5, 13, 20 and 21. You can use the lift to return to the bottom
floor and the exit if you want.

Take the lift to F5 where you'll find a locked door. This is also when battles
will start, at least they did for me with a quartet of Gold Ants! If you're in
a battle or leave a floor you'll have to unlock the doors again.

IMPORTANT!
I found the rare Killer Closet enemy on Floor 5, inside the locked part with
the bookcases. It turns up infrequently but when it does there are two of
them. This monster dropped the Iron Girdle protector in MMR and I expect it
does the same here. You'll also find lots of Golden Ants so the worst that can
happen is that everyone levels up quickly!

Use the [ロックハッカー] - Lock Hacker on the door and climb the stairs to F6.
Use the Lock Hacker again on this locked door and Examine the wooden box to
find a generous [1525 GOLD]. Return to F5 and take the lift to F13.

You'll spot the wooden crate easily. Open it to receive the
[きんののべぼう] - GOLD BAR which can be sold for a goodly sum! If you take the
stairs up or down from F13 you'll find nothing and no lift on F14 or F12. Take
the lift up to F20 and descend the stairs (or jump down the hole in the top
left corner) to F19 where you'll find another wooden box with a
[ガスマスク] - GAS MASK. Return to the previous floor and ride the lift up to
the top floor F21.

Make your way around the holes in the floor until you reach a blue clothed man
lying on the floor at the lower right of the room. Talk to him to rouse him
and walk away and he'll start to walk back to the lift. (If he doesn't do
that, talk to him a second time.) Follow him into the lift and you'll be back
on the ground floor. He's waiting by the door and his daughter is on the other
side the door.

Speak to him again and he will explain his plan. Tell him you are ready (or
say no if you haven't found everything yet. While he does what he wants
you cannot move, and then you're outside again and the way is clear! Drive
down the ramp to the beach and head west over a series of islands until you
reach the mainland and another town! By this point my team's levels were
17/17/16.

LOCATION
You can only reach this town after completing the events in the Corona
Building. When the way is clear, drive west over a couple of islands
connected by a road, and Il Migra is the first place once you reach the
mainland.

The building to the right of the entrance rents three tanks and that's all
they do. The left building has the Tank tools shop at the left counter, with
the parts shop in the middle, and the shells shop at the right. Buy the Emmy C
Unit for at least one tank and all of them if you can afford it. It's a huge
improvement even on the Wozniak II and by this time you should have sold off
all the Hal900s. There is a better C Unit but it's not one you can buy so the
Emmy will last for the rest of the game for most of your tanks.

The large garage has a modification facility. Talk to the man at the back left
of the room to modify engines, (cost depends on the engine.) and the man next
to the back wall to increase magazine capacity, chassis defence or add a
weapon slot. The small building at the right is also a garage, and contains
the Hunter's Office and Memory Centre, with a new bounty poster of Gomez, a
fearsome looking man in red wielding a hammer. The repair mechanic is found at
the top left corner and the person in red at the right runs the refill shop
for shells and SP.

If you talk to the folks in town you'll learn a little about some bandits, at
least you would if you understand the text! Leave your tanks inside one of
the garages and cross over to the other part of town. There's still quite a
bit to do!

Check out the equipment shop at the right and buy the very cheap Earplugs that
might be helpful at some point to block out the bad noises. Maybe improve
armour and buy a couple of throwing items too. There's a Vending Machine in
here selling the usual healing and attack stuff. Inside the inn you'll find
the usual massage man but despite the number of rooms there's nothing to find.
At the back of town are three wooden buildings with poor families living
there. Again, there's nothing to find, but people will be telling you about
their poverty and the threat from bandits. Finally, enter the bar

Inside the Bar you'll be treated to a new experience. Yes, not only "flog"
racing, but dancing girls! The show starts as soon as you move towards the
stage, past the first seated man. After it's over, walk through to the
dressing room and talk to the girl at the left. Answer Yes and return over the
stage and walk around to talk to the man guarding the door to the girls and
he'll stand aside. (Answer No and he won't move, but you can try again.) If
you don't want to watch the dancing just walk up over the bar stools, but
nothing will happen. Also if you leave and return everything is back to the
way it was. Anyway... she tells you about Walgelyo the bad guy around here.
(I think you have to hear this in order for him to turn up.)

Enter Yuge before going to the North Ferry location and a man standing outside
the equipment store will go inside closing the door. Actually he's just
standing on guard blocking the door and if you talk to him he'll let you
inside. But it's obvious that the town is on alert. The large garage has two
vending machines although you can only reach the first one for now, and there
are no other services available. That means, no shells or Armour Tiles
replenishment! Come back later after defeating the threat to the town to
access the second Vending Machine.

The bar sells drinks and there are lots of people ready to talk to you
although it's not necessary. You'll also find three operational Flog Race
machines! The left one costs 100G, the middle one 150G and the right one 200G.
The Memory place is inside the Inn and you'll find the usual massage man.
Enter the smaller tank building and talk to the guard before you're allowed
inside. They sell some excellent tank weapons as well as the powerful V24
engine but all this will cost a lot. If you don't have much gold then, earn
more, or hope you manage the next battle without having to buy anything. (I
didn't have enough for any of it and managed with no problems.)

from Yuge.

This is the location of the bandit group and they have protected their hideout
with lots of mines! These are located in the sandy ground next to the
building, but by driving down the middle of the ground you'll avoid most of
them. Stop before reaching the last step and use the Mine Detector to locate
the final one and turn left to avoid it. You can visit Yuge first but the
people will be anxious and the large garage won't have its services running.

Enter the building and talk to all three men to trigger them moving and
letting you inside. You can access two Vending Machines here.

Make ready for a battle and approach the jetty. A boat arrives and a tank will
disembark and face your position. Say yes and you're in a battle with the
three henchmen and a blue tank.

Go for the henchmen first as they might use a sleep or noise attack, but the
Earplugs will protect from this. You should be able to defeat them all on the
first turn. The tank uses one all party attack that hurts each tank for around
45-50 SP damage and another one that does around 25 SP damage. He will only
have one turn if the henchmen are still alive, but two when they are dead. Use
Armour Piercing shells to disable him and attack with your best weapons: SE
guns and Main guns and he'll go down quickly as he doesn't have a lot of SP.
(My team were all Level 18 at this point.)

After the battle the tank has disappeared and someone seems to be blocking the
ferry, but simply drive along the south jetty and enter the boat, and it will
move off and deposit you on the south shore.

ii. Tank Ferry South

LOCATION
South of Yuge. You have to defeat a tank enemy in the Tank Ferry North
building to gain access to the ferry to bring you here.

There's a Vending Machine here and nothing else. Buy some Para-Non as a
precaution and set forth into this new land!. There are a a wealth of choices
now. You can find Eden, a town tucked away in the mountains to the southeast
of the Ferry, carry on driving south to the secret waterfall base, or find Sol
to the far east. Sol and Eden are the nearest "Dog System" towns and it's the
logical next step to find them both. That gives you access to more choices,
both in terms of buying better tank and human equipment and accessing some
other intriguing locations.

However, before deciding where to go there's a fantastic free engine to find.
From the Ferry building drive 4 steps right and then head down the grass and
count 9 or 10 steps. (You won't be able to see any map features at all at this
spot, only grass.) Use the Metal Detector and you should be right on top of
the flashing red mark. Examine it and you'll find [V48コング] - V48 KONG.

Drive south from the Ferry and all you'll see is green. Head west to the edge
of the river and you'll find a patch of sand surrounded with three trees. It's
just north of a large area of cracked ground.

Around here you'll find the wanted monster that's a blue version of those pink
Kamikaze Bomb types encountered near Il Migra. It seems to appear close to the
cracked ground just to the south of the trader camp and is a random encounter.

The problem with this tricky enemy is that it will escape if you don't kill it
quickly. Before coming after it, equip your tanks with good Main Guns and SE
guns too and use your most powerful attacks. Shells don't seem to work on it
so I wouldn't bother with those. It has about 500 SP so it's not hard to kill,
although it might prevent your attacks by some status effect. Hunter with the
160 Spark and someone else using the ATM SE gun did the trick.

iv. 滝つぼのアジト東 : Secret Waterfall Base Trader Camp
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LOCATION
A long way south from the South Ferry, past the cracked ground to the west,
and follow a narrow path west to reach a sharp turn just before the waterfall.

AREA ENEMIES
Missile Carrier, Roaming Plating, Radio Blossom, Sonic Cobra, Slow Walker
(rare), Gasoline Caiman.

SPECIAL

From the Tank Ferry, drive due south and keep going... for a long long way! As
you go further south, the route narrows down to a single file wending its way
south and then west, along the bank of a river. Eventually you'll reach a
sharp turn south, and there's a single sandy square at the corner. Drive in
here to find a Trader Camp with not much for sale, unless you want to buy a
mini-game or need to stock up on Tile Packs and Repair kits. However, this is
one of the rare places that sells Energy Capsules and those are worth buying
in bulk! From here, keep going following the narrow path around the waterfall
and heading north (past the Secret Base building at the left of the path) and
eventually you'll reach open grassland. Drive east to find the next town and
Dog System location of Santa Poco.

Leave this until after reaching Santa Poco and return down the path from
there. It's a shorter distance and you'll be able to improve the quality of
your tank weapons before fighting the Wanted enemy. Also, the route from the
South Ferry has a very high encounter rate!

Don't bring along a towed tank as it's just a nuisance when you acquire your
new tank. Drive back down the path towards the waterfall and enter the
building at the left of the path. This is the final stage of the story-line
that started when you met Red Wolf in the bar at Riorado and inside the cave
there, and finishes off the Il Migra scenario when you heard about the
bandits. Here you'll find the Waygelyo's boss, Gomez as well as another tank.

Quite a scene awaits you on entering the compound and there's one scared
bandit sheltering at the top corner of fence, but he won't do anything if you
talk to him. There's nothing inside the first building and don't be tempted to
park your tanks! Enter the second one to be greeted with a scene which plays
out in front of you.

Gomez and Red Wolf are squaring up to a fight, but Gomez has a dastardly trick
up his sleeve. Nina, Red Wolf's girl is his prisoner and he uses her to lure
Red Wolf out of his tank. After some chat Gomez enters his tank, but Red Wolf
is still on foot so he's at a distinct disadvantage when the battle starts.
You watch it but cannot control Red Wolf and there's nothing you can do to
change the outcome. After the battle you can leave and return later to the

Use Hollow Point and Armour Piercing Shells if you want a fast win, but it's
not hard to defeat the tank with half decent Main Guns and SE weapons. Your
tanks will suffer over 100 SP loss on each turn, sometimes more than that, so
having high SP is the best defence. Compared to MMR it's very easy, as you had
to fight two battles in that game.

Move forwards to talk to Red Wolf and then, Examine the red tank and make it
your own. It comes with a wealth of excellent equipment and you'll use this
tank right up to the end of the game. Its guns are fully loaded and the
magazine can carry up to 128 shells. It has a generous 808/1360 SP.

While you are here you might as well raid the place. You have to be on foot to
cross to the back room where you can also talk to the girl. There are two
wooden boxes to the right of the wardrobe. The left one has a useful sellable
item, the [きんののべぼう] - GOLD BAR, and the right contains
[がっぽりのさいふ] - OVERSTUFFED WALLET. Leave the building and move to wherever
you want to go next, but remember to claim the reward and spend it all!
